Jake Balcom has been creating custom metal work through his shop Mettle Design for the past eight years. Mettle Design’s main focus is custom designed pieces such as signs, furniture and railings. A selection of outdoor dining railings can be seen in downtown Lincoln at Dish, Highnooners, Oso Burrito and Ali Baba’s restaurants. He is the recipient of the City of Lincoln Downtown Impact Award.
