Shelly Bartek’s love for nature and life's purpose takes her art to representational symbolic subjects that define nature’s enigmatic and diverse manifestations. She experiments with a oil media and gold leaf on wood to create texture and movement that tell a new story with each painting. Bartek’s corporate client list includes American Airlines, AT&T, Campbell’s Soup and Kleenex, among many others. Her art has appeared on labels for B & G (Barton & Guestier) French wines and promotion materials for Paul Simon’s Acura Music Tour. Bartek recently created a series of six commemorative stamps for the United Nations Postal Administration’s “Day of Families” theme, and the U.N. issued these stamps in May 2006.
