Jaime Hackbart earned a BFA from Bellevue University and an MFA with an emphasis on printmaking from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Hackbart's current body of work in both prints and paintings explores space, motion, and spiritual in nature using natural bodies of water as source and inspiration. A veteran of numerous exhibitions, the artist’s work is included in both national and international public collections, including the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden in Lincoln, NE, the Frans Masereel Center, Kasterlee, Belgium, the Royal Museum of the Fine Arts, Antwerp, Belgium, and the New York Public Library, Print Collection.
