Omaha-based artist James Freeman works across a range of styles and media. From botanical abstraction and grid-based collage through a series of mysterious animals floating in a dream-space, he explores the possibilities of charcoal drawing and acrylic paint on paper and canvas. Freeman is a member of the Thirteenth Street Gallery and has participated in many group exhibitions in the Omaha area. The artist studied printmaking at the University of Georgia Southern and Bellevue University.
