Joe Goode was born in Oklahoma in 1937. He attended the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles from 1959 to 1961. Over the past 40 years, he has shown in galleries worldwide, and his work has been featured in the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among many others. Goode’s work is also included in the collections of museums and organizations such as the Art Institute of Chicago, London’s National Gallery and MOMA in New York. The artist currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
