Gwen Laine creates photography, sculpture and photo based assemblages. She up in Colorado as the youngest of four children and the only girl, and her work is greatly influenced by her family life, especially her experience as the only woman surrounded by men. Laine received a BFA from the University of Colorado, where she studied both photography and sculpture. She currently lives in Wheat Ridge, CO.
