Lauri Lynnxe Murphy has long been engaged with the ability to connect disparate and sometimes random elements to create meaning and narrative. She deploys a wide range of media and methodologies, juxtaposing realism and abstraction, found objects and tightly painted elements, ultimately gravitating toward the grid as a superimposed organizational structure. The artist received her BFA from Metropolitan State College of Denver and has exhibited nationally in solo and group shows.
