Linn Meyers received her BFA from The Cooper Union, NYC (1990) and her MFA from The California College of the Arts, San Francisco, (1993). Meyers’ drawings are in the collections of the Hirshhorn Museum and The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC and the New Britain Museum, New Britain, CT as well as many other collections. Meyers has received numerous awards and honors, including a Pollock-Krasner Foundation award, a Trawick Award, grants from the DC Commission on the Arts and the Fifth Floor Foundation. She has been an artist in Residence at the Frick Museum in Pittsburgh, PA,(2002) The Millay Colony,(1999) The Bemis,(1999) and The Tamarind Institute, (2006.) She is currently the 2007-2008 Artist-In_Residence at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington DC.
