Matt Orand earned his BFA in Sculpture from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2005. He shares overlapping artistic visions with friend and colleague Matt Walker, which has led to several collaborative installations at venues such as the University of Nebraska at Omaha Art Gallery. Examples of these installations include creating a fully functioning office for a fictitious manufacturing company complete with employees as well as a love-themed party replete with bubbles, hot pink feather boas and all things kitsch. Last year, Orand and Walker co-curated the exhibition Fragments & Details: the bitter and the sweet for the bemisUNDERGROUND.
