Sarah McKenzie paints aerial views of suburbia that underscore how the American approach to home building has become so standardized that many metropolitan areas are beginning to look alike. McKenzie earned her BA from Yale University and an MFA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. A veteran of numerous solo and group exhibitions, her work has been reviewed in The New York Times, the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Dialogue Magazine, among others.
