Sarah Timberlake got her start as a poet. She then began to paint, sculpt and create installations that filled entire rooms. She has also explored photography and drawing as ways to continue learning and discovering. The artist earned her MFA from the University of Colorado, School of the Museum of Fine Arts and a BA from the University of Colorado, Mills College. She has been a National Endowment for the Arts fellow and has exhibited in group and solo shows.
