Steven Tracy is a non-objective, abstract painter. His early years were spent studying printmaking in the tradition of the masters. His current work is characterized by a strong brush, wide chromatic scale, and multiple images of similar theme. Structured segments are loosely defined in his paintings for objects or calligraphic explosions to occur.
