Hae-Won Won uses a wide variety of materials an techniques, including photography, installation, costumes and plants in an effort to explore the boundaries between self and the world. The artist earned a BFA from Seoul National University, an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA from London’s Chelsea College of Art and Design. He has also studied at the International Center for the Photography in New York. Won has shown his work internationally in solo and group shows in venues such as the Kunho Museum of Art (Seoul, South Korea) the Staatliche Museen (Berlin, Germany) and the Century Gallery (London, UK).
