Matt Walker earned his BFA in Sculpture from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2005. He shares overlapping artistic visions with friend and colleague Matt Orand, which has led to several collaborative installations for venues such as the University of Nebraska at Omaha Art Gallery. Examples of these installations include creating a fully functioning office for a fictitious manufacturing company complete with employees and a love-themed party replete with bubbles, hot pink feather boas and all things kitsch. In 2006, Orand and Walker co-curated the exhibition Fragments & Details: the bitter and the sweet for the bemisUNDERGROUND.
