Paula Wallace explores themes such as the beauty of the ordinary, the intimate moment and the human face and form. She often leaves her backgrounds uncluttered, even austere, in order to focus on the immediacy of that moment with the subject. Wallace is a graduate of the University of Iowa and has taken additional coursework in the arts while in Chicago and in Ireland. She exhibited widely in the US, and her work is held in private collections internationally.
